Long Way Down Book Review
Long Way Down is written in verse and is one of the most gripping novels I read this summer. I am quite impressed with the depth of characters and the discussion that comes from the book. I cannot keep the book on my shelf in my classroom. Students tend to chat with me about their predictions and I love the opportunity to book talk. Long Way Down is about a boy named Will who lives in a not so good neighborhood. His brother Sean is his best friend. They live by certain rules, but do those rules still apply when his brother Sean is shot and killed. Pick up the book! You will not regret it!
